14. Independence Day: Resurgence Ran Out Of Money Mid-Production

During interviews, Liam Hemsworth admitted something Fox would probably rather have kept secret, that production on this past summer's epic blockbuster Independence Day: Resurgence actually had to shut down for four days when the shoot ran out of money.

Little is known about the burueacratic ins-and-outs of why this happened, but considering the money that was being pumped into the project, it's definitely pretty shocking to hear it having such troubles.

Did someone just forget to cash a cheque or carry a decimal point or something? Either way, closing an in-production movie down for even just one day comes at massive expense, but four? Yikes.
