Why It Looks Terrible: There's nothing more than a few promotional stills out yet, but on the basis of the first Hotel Transylvania, this is probably going to once again squander an interesting premise with surprisingly bland humour and uninteresting characters. Even with Mel Brooks lending his voice to play Dracula's (Adam Sandler) father Vlad, there's just not much to be intrigued or excited about here. How It Will Make A Profit: The previous movie made $358.3 million (more than four-times its budget) at the box office despite mixed reviews, and considering how many animated sequels see major upswings in financial returns, it's possible that this second movie could smash the $500 million mark. Even if it's not as successful as the first film, though, a bomb is practically impossible: it's going to make money, and probably a lot of it.
