15 Things You Didn't Know About Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy
5. Adam Scott And Jon Hamm's Subtle Cameos
A lot
of familiar faces pop up throughout Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy and
many of the cast have gone on to become huge names in the comedy industry.
Some of the actors were relatively unknown at the time and appear in minor roles in the film, including Seth Rogen playing the role of Scotty the cameraman.
The subtlest cameos in the film have to be the familiar names that pop up in the Channel 4 News Show’s credits, Jon Hamm and Adam Scott. Both are listed as writers for the show, which would have meant little to anybody that spotted this at the time as it came years before either of the actors got their breakout roles in Mad Men and Parks and Recreation respectively.
Both men have been good friends with Paul Rudd, who starred as Brian Fantana, for a number of years and were put in their as an inside joke, which now serves as a nice little Easter egg for viewers, as the two have gone on to become big stars in the industry.
