The Movie: Ant-Man And The Wasp

Played By: Hannah John-Kamen

Played by big screen newcomer Hannah John-Kamen (who has made her name in Dutch sci-fi show Killjoys and is recognisable to Dark Souls fans as the voice of Sweet Shalquoir), Ghost is a supervillain turned anti-hero introduced to Iron Man comics in 1987.

The character has traditionally been male in the comics and was introduced as an anticapitalist saboteur intent on destroying oppressive agencies and authorities - particularly those dealing with advanced technology and surveillance. Presumably, the movie version will target Pym Technologies as a symbol of that oppression.

Ghost has a lot to bring to Ant-Man And The Wasp - particularly as her role will have to compete with the plot to rescue Janet Van Dyne from the Quantum Realm - but we should all be thankful that Marvel have decided against simply bringing in another business rival as they've done too many times previously.
