The Pitch: Kaulder (Vin Diesel) is an immortal witch hunter attempting to prevent a worldwide catastrophe at the hands of a band of witches. The twist? In order to stop the plague the witches plan to unleash, Kaulder must team up with one of their own, Chloe (Rose Leslie), who can lead him to the dream world to put the chaos to an end. Why It Could Score 0%: This has overblown, effects-driven supernatural nonsense written all over it, likely ending up a generic mish-mash of cool things Vin Diesel wanted in a movie, but without any ideas or characters approaching either original or interesting. Sad as it is to say, Diesel's movies outside of The Fast And The Furious franchise rarely do well critically (Guardians Of The Galaxy, Find Me Guilty and Boiler Room are his only other Fresh films from the last 15 years), so the odds are stacked firmly in his favour for a surprise hit.
