There's a small chance you might recognise Pom Klementieff as Sharlto Copley's bodyguard in 2013's Oldboy remake, but more likely, your first introduction to her in any memorable way was as Mantis in the recent trailer for next summer's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

It's clear from the brief footage we've seen that she's going to be an hilarious addition to the Guardians line-up, using her extra-sensory abilities to help stir the sexual tension between Star-Lord and Gamora, and probably demonstrate some kick-a** martial arts skills too.

There's no profile boost quite like appearing in an MCU movie, so expect her rather scant IMDB page to get much busier over the next twelve months.
