It's not unfair to say that Taissa Farmiga is best known for being the younger sister of the brilliant Vera Farmiga, and though she's put in fine work on American Horror Story over the years, she hasn't yet found that one big movie role to shoot her to the moon.
The search might be over, though, as Farmiga will appear in this summer's horror film The Nun, a spin-off from The Conjuring series which, of course, stars her sister.
Considering the ludicrous box office success every movie in the Conjuring franchise has enjoyed so far, it's safe to say that The Nun will be box office dynamite regardless of its actual quality.
That Farmiga will be front and center as the protagonist will no doubt prove her viability as a lead actress to studios, and help her score more mainstream leading roles from this point on.
