2 Fast 2 Furious isn't just easily the worst title in the entire franchise (though the enormously lazy Fast and Furious isn't great either), it's one of the worst titles to a sequel ever, right up there with Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo and C.H.U.D. 2: Bud the Chud. Using numbers instead of letters in a movie title rarely looks cool to anyone over the age of about 13, and unsurprisingly it ended up being widely ridiculed online, as even to this day people joke about the next Furious film being titled 7 Fast 7 Furious. Critics meanwhile were just given ammunition to tear the film down by calling it "2 dumb 2 hilarious", or pretty much any other critique you can think of followed by the number two.
