It seems like almost every year that someone starts some sort of petition or campaign for Nathan Fillion to be cast in the MCU - specifically as Nova, most of the time - but it's already happened and it's possibly unlikely to happen again (especially as he's appeared twice officially).

The first time was a voice-only performance as he was hired by James Gunn for Guardians Of The Galaxy with almost troll-like teasing to play a character with a grand total of about 12 seconds of screentime.
The cult-appealing actor voiced the imaginatively named Monstrous Inmate for the brilliant 2014 addition to the series. And there's no way you would have noticed without being told in advance.
