17. All The Awful CGI - Black Panther
The Film
More than living up to the immense hype, Black Panther dared to dabble in some of the MCU's weightiest themes to date, while serving up an all-timer antagonist in Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan) and making Wakanda perhaps the series' most compelling locale yet. It's not perfect, but it subverts a lot of the MCU's most complained-about issues.
The Moment
As great as the movie is, it's staggering that a $210 million production can look this visually inconsistent. Wakanda itself looks pretty damn fantastic, but the climactic battle between T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) and Killmonger is a blurry, goopy digital mess, and the less said about the CGI war rhinos, the better.
Considering how many lower-budgeted blockbuster movies look substantially better than this - Rampage cost almost half the price and is far more convincing, for instance - it's really not good enough.
