10. There's A Really Weird Scene Where Thor Goes To A Pool Of Visions
After seeing the Heimdall hallucination, Thor wants to see the vision again, so heads with Erik Selvig (in his single notable scene in the movie) to a mysterious cave pool, which when heated up somehow allows him to see the vision. It's the strangest scene in the movie and feels incredibly rushed, likely cut way down in order to shorten Whedon's original three-and-a-half hour run-time. Considering that the trailer showed a black woman disrobing in this very same cave pool, it seems like a pretty big chunk of it may have landed on the cutting room floor, and it makes the scene feel mostly superfluous as a result.
