20 Behind-The-Scenes Shots That Make Films Look Stupid

8. R2-D2 Eating A Sandwich

Seeing behind-the-scenes looks of the original Star Wars trilogy are almost as magical as the films themselves. Seeing the brief YouTube clips of JJ Abrams working on The Force Awakens inspire a similar sense of awe, with the use of huge, bustling sets full of extras and animatronic aliens making the galaxy far, far away feel like it's a real, living, breathing thing. But all of that makes it all the more silly when you see that facade of realism destroyed. Such as, say, seeing R2-D2 actor Kenny Baker cracking the lid of his dustbin-shaped robot costume so that he can have a sandwich between takes. It all just looks so normal and everyday in the face of a desert alien world populated by tiny robots that aren't supposed to have hungry men inside.
