20 Behind-The-Scenes Shots That Make Films Look Stupid

19. Michael Myers Drinking A Dr Pepper

Halloween is a perfect horror film, the 1978 original basically kick-starting the whole "slasher flick" sub-genre. Knowing anything about what happened behind-the-scenes ruins that perfectly crafted sense of tension and terror, however, because it was such a goofy, low-budget mess. Even knowing it was originally called "The Babysitter Murders" makes it sound hokey and cheesy. Then you consider that the iconic Michael Myers mask was a William Shatner mask bought from a costume store and spray-painted white, and that either makes the indestructible, supernatural killer more of less scary, depending on your opinion of Kirk. But the stupidest thing yet are the multiple behind-the-scenes photos of the terrifying killer...drinking Dr Pepper through his mask.
