On top of being a slick modern entry into the Western genre, Bone Tomahawk carries with it a delightfully retro poster that gets its colour saturation just right. The admittedly cool title is backed up by a solid, old school font, which is aesthetically associated with Westerns, and the floating faces trope is abetted by the setting sun backdrop. It sells its premise simply and subtly; the white hats are coming.
