16. Big Nothing (David Schwimmer)

Pathé

Big Nothing is by far the most niche film on this list, given that it doesn't even have enough reviews to have a critical consensus score on Rotten Tomatoes.

But don't let that turn you off - this little-seen 2006 black comedy stars David Schwimmer as a strung-out former teacher who joins his demented old pal (Simon Pegg) on a blackmail scheme to get rich quick.

Though hardly the most original premise in the world, it's held aloft by the laid-back chemistry between Schwimmer and Pegg, and a tone that pinballs audaciously between light and dark.

In a just world, Big Nothing would be a much-loved cult classic, but it's such a niche outing that it can't even qualify for that.

Do yourself a favour and check it out on VOD, because it's a good deal better than its invisible rep would have you believe.
