7. The Orgy - Infinity Pool

Infinity Pool's erm, climactic, orgy scene is NSFW enough that we can scarcely include a screenshot of it here.

At the start of the third act, Gabi (Mia Goth) initiates a drug-fuelled orgy with James (Alexander Skarsgård) and the other hedonistic Western tourists staying at the resort.

What follows is a hallucinogenic, neon-splashed three-minute sequence in which the group do just about everything to one another you could possibly imagine.

It's basically a collage of human bodies slithering around, intercut with a few especially unnerving sights, namely a female nipple oozing an unspecified liquid.

If the intent was to disturb rather than titillate, then director Brandon Cronenberg most certainly did his job.
