In 2008's Iron Man movie, after Tony Stark had liberated an Afghan village from their terrorist captors in his Iron Man, James "Rhodey" Rhodes had sent a pair of fighter jets after the unidentified "bogey" (Stark) when he received a phone call from the man himself. Stark attempted to deny any knowledge of the incident, but a notable thing about the scene is that Rhodey's ringtone was a funky little midi version of the 1966 Iron Man cartoon theme music. In fact, in the same movie, the same music (albeit a jazz version, not a midi version) was playing as Tony and Rhodey walked through a casino in Las Vegas - both scenes giving a cool nod to a classic show starring the titular hero.
