With Jennifer Garner in the title role, plus a supporting cast that includes Terence Stamp and Will Yun Lee (The Wolverine), Elektra should’ve been a terrific popcorn flick, but instead it’s lacklustre from start to finish.

From the uninspired fight scenes to the bubble-gum psychology (do you think our heroine had a tough childhood?) and half-assed script, you can see why this Daredevil spin-off failed to launch a franchise.
