Participant(s): Trey Parker, Matt Stone And Cast Members All you have to do is mention the names Trey Parker and Matt Stone and you know that a commentary created by the two guys behind South Park is going to be good for a bucket-load of laughs. Predictably things are kept very casual as Trey, Matt and a group of their film school buddies who made up the cast of the film (most of whom are now just ordinary people) chew the fat for an hour-and-a-half, often meandering off the subject of the 1993 black comedy musical. The commentary was recorded after the astronomical success of South Park so theres also a few anecdotes thrown in there about the hit television series. The alcohol flows and the whole commentary feels like you are just overhearing a gathering between old friends they even discuss going to a strip joint once theyre finished with the commentary! We also learn the fascinating tale of Liane, Trey Parkers fiancé who about a month before the wedding decided to start sleeping with this guy in a cappella group. To humiliate her through fiction Parker named a horse after her in Cannibal! as well as naming Cartmans 'easy' mum after her in South Park.
