It can only be assumed that the entirety of the western world has seen Adam McKays hilarious comedy and is probably able to flawlessly quote the whole film. Those looking to refresh their enjoyment of Ron Burgundys pant-wettingly funny career with KVWN channel 4 should definitely slap on the commentary with Adam McKay and Will Ferrell. Over the course of the commentary the pair receive call ins from Paul Rudd and Christina Applegate and a brief visit from David Koechmer as well as a host of people with seemingly nothing to do with the film like Tenacious Ds Kyle Gass and the late Lou Rawls. Insight into the 2004 film is limited but the stories and banter are free-flowing. Take everything McKay and Ferrell say with a pinch of salt as theyre clearly just there to generate a few laughs but if youre a fan of Anchorman youre sure to enjoy the absurd experience.
