20 Easter Eggs From Spider-Man: No Way Home You May Have Missed

20. Connections To The Marvel Cinematic Universe

Given how many threads weave in and out between Sony's Spider-Man and the MCU, we're lumping all these small things into one big MCU Easter Egg:

- Peter and MJ swing past a billboard for Rogers: The Musical, which ties the timing of No Way Home in with the currently airing Hawkeye show

- A copy of Captain America's shield is being added to the Statue of Liberty to mark his passing, which is also alluded to in Hawkeye when Kate suggests Yelena visit the new, improved Statue

- A news show discussing Stark Industries uses a picture of Happy with his 1999-era mullet as seen in Iron Man 3

- Happy's safehouse is full of nods; Downton Abbey, a hook full of swipe cards that the security-conscious Happy loves, and he has kept Tony's robot DUM-E around

- Peter, MJ and Ned choosing MIT is a nice tribute to being both Tony Stark's alma mater and the location of his speech from Civil War, which introduced Spider-Man to the MCU

- Damage Control, first appearing in Homecoming as a superhero battle clean-up service funded by Stark, still exists and in fact seems to now have law enforcement powers

- At the climax, Strange creates a circle of runes like Wanda does during her battle with Agatha, showing that he created and owns that magical space

Disney and Marvel must have had a blast creating these.
