5. Star-Lord Dances Through The Ruins - Guardians Of The Galaxy
It would be really easy to say all of it when asked what the best moment of Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy was. The biggest hit of the summer is chock-full of great set pieces and character beats. However, a good case could be made that the best scene happens quite early on. An emotive back-story segment leads you into Guardians and the origin of hero Peter Quill, but were not given much time to dwell on it - barely a few minutes into this outlandish adventure it becomes clear that this isn't a typical Marvel movie. You see Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) land on the deserted planet Morag, slip his headphones on, and break out into a wonderfully cheesy song and dance routine through the ruins. It's completely unexpected, whimsical, and an utterly hilarious way to establish everything we truly need to know about this character.
