The Moment: While there's plenty of controversy revolving around Joe Wright's adaptation of the Peter Pan story (namely the casting of the very white Rooney Mara as pickaninny Tiger Lily), there's one casting choice that looks sure to satisfy: Hugh Jackman as legendary pirate Blackbeard, with a shaved head and boasting some of the most interesting facial hair of any actor starring in any movie this year. Why It Will Define 2015: Whether or not the film is any good, Jackman is almost certain to deliver a riotously entertaining performance. While he might not be gunning for Academy Awards early next year, there's a good chance he might be the best part of a so-so production. Plus, it's not like Jackman is going anywhere near Wolverine until next year's X-Men: Apocalypse, so why not?
