Wilhelm von Homburg, who played the main antagonist Vigo the Carpathian in Ghostbusters II, also played James - a member of the German terrorist group that planned to rob the Nakatomi Tower - in the 1988 action classic Die Hard. The guy was apparently a little crazy in real life and it would seem he was typecast accordingly.
