A great song that shows Scar's descent into madness after he takes over the crown of the Pridelands, and lets them fall to ruin and despair, as well as explaining a little more colourfully why Nala is no longer in the Pridelands when she meets Simba again.
Scar wants her as his mate, she rejects him, and she is banished, before Scar reveals he is in cahoots with the hyenas perhaps a little too adult for the film, but Disney have dealt with complex issues before and it's a shame it never made it. Fans who have seen the musical will recognise that the reprise was in fact added to that song list, renamed as The Madness of King Scar.
