So...why were Cruella and Anita friends, again? Anita mentions that they were at school together, despite the fact that Anita looks like she's in her mid to late 20s and Cruella looks like the Cryptkeeper. But she has a great introductory scene, because she basically just shows up at their house and wreaks havoc. Cruella insults Anita's husband and her home, blows smoke in everyone's face, puts a cigarette out on a cupcake, tries to buy her puppies so that she can kill them and wear their skins, and then peaces out of there. She's a whirlwind of awful, and it's hard to blame Roger for penning a killer song mocking her. Cruella De Vil is the worst fictional person who ever fictionally lived, and that's a straight up fact. One that is obvious as soon as audiences see her frizzy-headed silhouette outside the door.
