The Movie: Made at the height of the low-budget slasher film craze, Sleepaway Camp tells the story of a girl named Angela who, after surviving a horrific boating accident which killed her father and twin sibling, goes crazy and murders a bunch of unsuspecting campers. The Ending: A few of the counselors find a naked Angela humming to herself and clutching both a large knife and a fellow camp attendee's severed head in her hands. They are shocked to discover that "Angela" is actually Peter, her thought-to-be-dead brother. It is revealed that the real Angela died in the aforementioned boating accident and Peter survived. When her aunt gained custody of Peter, she subsequently raised him as a girl. The film suddenly ends with the nude and blood-covered Angela, male genitalia in full view, letting out an animalistic hissing sound while coldly staring and resembling a cardboard cutout of a pint-sized Cro-Magnon caveman.
