Who says poems can't be TV shows too? King's poem The Bone Church will be the basis for a new TV series from the executive producer behind Mr Mercedes and Suicide Squad's David Ayer.

It's an intriguing one, given the source, but the narrative - which follows an adventurer who is the sole survivor of an expedition into the jungle to locate the Bone Church of lore, which finds something far more sinister. See, the narrative definitely is worth adapting and would sit alongside other Heart Of Darkness-inspired stories.

Whether Ayer can leave behind Suicide Squad will be a big talking point, but he has far better credentials than that mess suggests.
