There are frequent jokes made online that the X-Men movies are really just "Wolverine and friends" for the most, but with good reason. After all, Jackman is the center piece, the focal point of these movies, the giant, hulking anchor used to keep everything else in check. If nothing else, Jackman has been an incredibly consistent presence throughout the series, absolutely jacked from a physical perspective, alongside his grizzled voice and facial expressions and sardonic sense of humour. Performance-wise, Jackman tends to receive the lion's share of the praise, such that even in the lesser X-Men films like The Last Stand and Origins: Wolverine, he is able to survive with his integrity in tact. Jackman's performance has never wavered for even a moment, and when he's not on screen (as in First Class for all but one short cameo), he is sorely missed. Despite Jackman now being in his mid-forties, he remains in impeccable physical condition, so hopefully we can look forward to at least another decade of brilliant Jackman performances.
