20 Insanely Awesome 2014 Movie One-Liners

If Christopher Nolan's hugely hyped sci-fi movie didn't exactly live up to expectations and suffered from a lot of clunky dialogue (like the whole love speech and "It's impossible" / "No, it's necessary"), there's one great line that pretty much encompassed the entire thematic of the movie. As Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) tells this to his father-in-law Donald (John Lithgow), it reflects a clear frustration with the current lack of forward-movement regarding space exploration as, of course, when people are starving and corners have to be cut, the billions required for space travel aren't exactly seen as a priority. Nolan has made it clear in interviews about the film that he himself is a huge proponent of government funding for NASA, and his movie is a complete reflection of that, no better realised than in this poetic line.
