18. "I Hope You Like Leather" - The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water
The Line: As Mr. Krabbs explains the gravity of the Krabby Patty formula being stolen, Squidward asks, "Seriously? Aren't you overreacting a bit?". Cut to everyone in the vicinity suddenly wearing Mad Max-esque post-apocalyptic bondage gear and going crazy, as stuff explodes in the foreground, and Krabbs tells him, "Welcome to the apocalypse. I hope you like leather." Why It's Awesome: This is a terrific joke put in there for the adults while gracefully flying over the heads of children watching. It's clearly a nod to Mad Max's inexplicable use of leather clothing in extremely hot weather conditions, and there's also a hint of naughtiness to it considering how hilariously kinky Mr. Krabbs looks in his get-up.
