As the Bond film celebrating 50 years of the famed super spy, Skyfall goes all out to be a bumper edition of 007 Easter eggs. It makes references to literally every Bond film ever made - there's a fight atop a train a la Octopussy, a reptile pit-based escape recalling Bond's alligator evasion in Live And Let Die, a case of Bond being presumed dead in the title sequence as with You Only Live Twice - but there are more specific notifiers of just how old Bond really is. When Bond reaches the island owned by Javier Bardem's Silva, the MI6 agent-gone-rogue (much like GoldenEye's Alec Trevelyan) offers Bond some 50-year-old Macallan whisky, before the pair proceed to celebrate with a toast. The year, 1962, is printed prominently on the bottle - that's the year Dr. No was first released What's more, on 5th October 2012 - 50 years to the day since Bond made his big screen debut - at 00:07 AM GMT, Adele's Skyfall theme song was released to the public for the first time.
