19. Coyote vs. Acme

For a time, it seemed like the world might never get to see the live-action-animated hybrid film Coyote vs. Acme, given that Warner Bros. initially shelved the film during post-production in order to claim a tax write-off.

Amid intense public backlash, however, the studio relented, allowing the filmmakers to shop the project around elsewhere, with Ketchup Entertainment eventually hopping aboard last year.

Behind-the-scenes nonsense aside, Coyote vs. Acme certainly touts one of the most hilariously inventive concepts of the year, with Wile E. Coyote filing a lawsuit against the Acme Corporation for the many faulty projects they've allegedly sold him while he's tried to catch the Road Runner.

Filmmakers who've seen the picture already have universally praised it as a clever and creative parody of the typical legal drama, with Will Forte and John Cena playing the counsels for Coyote and Acme, respectively.

From what little we've seen of it in action so far, this deserves to become one of 2026's big breakout hits - here's hoping.
