The Plot: A young reporter is investigating the disappearance of a porn actress, and after discovering that she was killed for a snuff film, she decides to investigate further, leading her down a road from which she may not be able to escape. Why It's Disturbing: Where to begin? Sights glimpsed throughout the film include a man feasting on a woman's menstrual blood, a nipple being ripped off and a ton of rape and murder. What really makes this one feel so icky isn't merely the amount of menstrual blood on display, but the authenticity of the mockumentary approach, which recreates the style and look of a real investigative doc with startling authenticity.
