No one is going to see Jurassic World for its character development or meaningful themes. People come for one thing and one thing only, some unbelievable dinosaur action, and in that sense, Jurassic World absolutely delivered. After spending the whole movie chasing down the massive Indominus Rex, when they finally had a shot at him, Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard took it by means of the series original big bad, the Tyrannosaurus Rex. Add in a few raptors and a finishing blow from a Mosasaurus, and the entire scene is silly, fun, and epic all at once.The movie certainly isnt selling realism, but thats what makes this climactic moment so great. It embraces the larger-than-life nature of the film and provides audiences with a moment unlike anything they could see in another movie. It may not be perfect, but this fight exemplified popcorn entertainment at its finest.
