The only thing more epic than Yondu (Michael Rooker) sacrificing himself to save Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is the spectacle of a Ravager funeral that follows.

All of Yondu's old Ravager pals show up to give him an explosive send-off, while Cat Stevens' iconic "Father and Son" plays out. It's about as epic as a funeral, either in real-life or in a movie, could possibly be, and if that's not enough, it might've even had you holding back an epic flood of tears to boot.
Though the Marvel Cinematic Universe is routinely criticised for failing to realise the consequences of death, James Gunn certainly did his level best in this tremendously affecting scene.
