1. Marie Is Actually The Killer - Switchblade Romance
The Twist: Marie (Cecile de France), one of the two women being hunted by a serial killer throughout the movie, was in fact the killer all along, and what the audience has seen is merely her own schizophrenic interpretation of the events.
Why It's Stupid: Because it completely calls into question everything the viewer has sat through leading up to the twist, and not in a good way. It's an extremely cheap way to pull the rug out from under the viewer, because the way it's filmed (from the point of view of Marie's mind) makes the twist absolutely impossible to guess.
Plus, there are a ton of logical issues, such as how the stick-thin Marie was able to overpower and kill several large men, but it sounds like writer-director Alexandre Aja was more interested in shock for its own sake than actual logic.
