9. Ian McDiarmid's Delicious Overacting (Revenge Of The Sith)
The Moment: Though this really applies to Ian McDiarmid's performance in all of the prequel movies, nothing tops his hammy performance during his battle with Mace Windu in Revenge of the Sith.

Why It's So Ridiculous: McDiarmid clearly knows what sort of movie he's in here and totally plays up to it, pulling outrageous facial expressions, screaming "Unlimited power!" like his life depends on it and taking the movie a lot less seriously than just about anyone else.
Perhaps McDiarmid's performance would've been distracting in a better trilogy of movies, but as it stands, his over-the-top turns are about as entertaining as they get.
