20. Three Christs - Peter Dinklage

An extremely interesting entry to kick off this list, with a movie that was only recently released in cinemas despite being filmed more than three years ago. The film stars Peter Dinklage and Richard Gere and premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, but failed to find a distributor until last year.

The plot sees three psychiatric patients who suffer paranoid schizophrenia, all under the illusion that they are Jesus Christ, including Peter Dinklage's character Joseph. Gere plays the psychiatrist with the bold idea to put all three men in the one counselling session to get to the heart of their holy delusion.

The film is by no means an amazing film, but it's not a total car crash either. Considering the big names involved and a strong trailer that set up an intriguing premise, it's strange that this film was given so little publicity, released in January with little fanfare to die a slow death.
