Did anyone really watch the 2013 Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger-starring action flick Escape Plan and demand a sequel?

Well, it's happening anyway, with Stallone returning but Schwarzenegger being switched out for Dave Bautista, whose excellent performance in the recent Blade Runner 2049 was probably enough to convince you he was above action schlock like this now.

With straight-to-video filmmaker Steven C. Miller (Marauders) at the helm and a supporting cast including 50 Cent and Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, it's hard to be particularly optimistic about this one. At least the Stallone-Bautista pairing should be fun for a few testosterone-fuelled laughs.
