15. How The Grinch Stole Christmas (Benedict Cumberbatch)

Though Benedict Cumberbatch is a blast as the suave, arrogant Stephen Strange, let's face it: he's an odd-looking guy, and is best-suited to playing creepy weirdos.

As such, when he was cast as The Grinch in Universal's new Christmas movie, it wasn't surprising at all: it was a fantastic move of spot-on casting.

It's a shame the role presumably isn't being performance-captured, because Cumberbatch's distinctly feline features could be piped wholesale into the movie and make for a suitably creepy take on the Grinch.

Either way, it'll be interesting to see how his performance compares to Jim Carrey's enjoyably off-the-wall turn in the 2000 Ron Howard movie.
