It might sound like a rip off of Short Circuit, but the latest from Neill Blomkamp - written by the excellent Simon Kinberg - is far more than that, and it will co-star former Walking Dead star Cantillo.

After being kidnapped by two criminals Chappie becomes the adopted son in a strange and dysfunctional family - a robot built for a lot more in an odd-ball situation. Definitely one of the best films to look out for this year.
