15. James Cameron: Martini Ranch - "Reach"

Prior to starring in James Cameron's multi-Oscar winner and domestic box-office destroyer Titanic (1997), Bill Paxton and Andrew Todd Rosenthal formed their own New Wave outfit Martini Ranch (spoiler alert - they are terrible). Similar in tone and progression to art-poppers Devo, the group failed to really reach a wide appeal and saw Paxton regain focus on his performance career. Roles in Apollo 13 (1993) and True Lies (1994) quickly followed. Cameron - who previously collaborated with Paxton on Aliens (1986) - was chosen to shoot the band's most expansive video "Reach" which feels like a dopey rock opera in the Wild West. It features Cameron alumni however as former wife Kathryn Bigelow appears (she and Paxton had just finished shooting Near Dark ), plus Aliens star Jenette Goldstein and even Judge Reinhold pop up.
