The final film of Peter Jackson's second Middle Earth trilogy is now out and assured of a pretty hefty box office return if the franchise's popularity is anything to go by. It's far from a terrible film, but there are some major issues (mostly because of the source), but fans will love it, and you get the feeling that's what counts most for Jackson.
