Before Gore Verbinski massacred Ringu and Johnny Depp's artistic integrity, he directed this bizarre Brad Pitt vehicle that was nothing like the movie it was advertised.

Promoted as a rom-com with Pitt and Julia Roberts in the leads, it's more of a road movie and the two stars are barely on-screen with each other. It's uninspired, confused and bored and not even Pitt's charisma can rescue it.
