9. The End Of The Tour

Speaking of Apatow, one of his repertory company of comedic stars makes his dramatic debut in this genuinely bizarre road movie. Jason Segel plays genius experimental novelist David Foster Wallace, alongside Jesse Eisenberg as Rolling Stone journalist David Lipsky, in this adaptation of Lipsky's book-length interview of Wallace from when the author was on tour promoting his masterwork, Infinite Jest.

Segel at least has the look down, and Eisenberg's worth watching in anything.
