10. Rickman Really Didn’t Like Allen At First

Despite their diverse background - method actor, hip hop star, award-winning theatrical actor, stand-up comedian, classically trained Shakespearean actor, Hollywood star - the cast loved working together and regularly had dinner parties together and hung out during the shoot.

Allen got on a few nerves at first - from what Weaver says, he’s constantly on, constantly performing a personality, and his kidding around (and dick and fart jokes) got on Rickman’s wick in particular.

However, by the end Rickman and Allen had become very good friends, with Rickman taking the very classy step of apologising to Allen and admitting that he’d mistaken his jokes for a lack of commitment.
