20 Things You Didn't Know About The Blair Witch Project
10. The Film Caused Problems For Hunting Season
With the film officially released to the public in July 1999,
one of the accidental carry-overs from the success of the movie is that it hit

Due to the popularity of the film, avid fans of The Blair
Witch Project would head to their local woods across the United States in order
to try and shoot their own Blair Witch-inspired documentaries and movies.
The result of this caused obvious disruption amongst the innocent
wildlife of these locales, meaning that those Elmer Fudd wannabes who were out
to hunt and kill during that particular hunting season were left with less
options to have in their crosshairs.
