The Blair Witch Project’s core trio of Heather, Mike and
Josh spent the majority of the picture deep in the woods, stranded from the
real world and from civilisation. As the movie went on, the three only got more
and more lost as their fate became eerily clear.

the normality of civilisation.
A large portion of The Blair Witch Project was filmed in Montgomery
County, Maryland’s Seneca Creek State Park – and some of the terror-laced
scenes of despair were actually shot only yards away from the safety of the
wood’s edge.
