Aaron Eckhart was arguably the perfect choice to play Harvey Dent, the golden boy politician (Eckhart said
he had Jack and Bobby Kennedy in mind while playing the role) who ultimately slides into madness. Unsurprisingly, however, a number of actors were considered at one point or another for the part including Jason Bourne himself. Matt Damon told MTV Splashpage that
he was offered the part of Harvey Dent, but had to turn it down due to a scheduling conflict. Maybe after the next reboot?
